Growing up in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, I went to Bradley University to pursue my passion for computer science and as my passion grew I began to specialize in the field of data science. Machine learning, big data and artificial intelligence are featured in some of my work as I strive to pursue a career in this field. I expect to graduate in May 2023 and am looking for a full time oppurtunity.

Projects

OSF Diabetic Ketoacidosis Project

Machine learning
The goal is to predict Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA) given medical testing data using machine learning. DKA affects people with type 1 diabetes when the body breaks down fat too quickly and there is not enough insulin. The liver turns these fats into acids called ketones. Given prior patient data, we will build a model that achieves the highest level of accuracy in predicting DKA. To test the accuracy of our model, we are aiming to achieve the lowest root mean square error.
